Nocturne Nights x Boogieland presents RAGING BULL

Join us! Step inside a smoky, sweat-soaked boxing gym and be transported to 1940s New York. 

For one night only, Boogieland in Amsterdam Noord is transformed into an immersive world inspired by Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull. Experience this iconic black-and-white film on the big screen, featuring a young Robert De Niro playing Jake LaMotta through the highs and lows of his boxing career. Described by Roger Ebert as "a masterpiece - perhaps the greatest film ever made about men and violence”.

The night begins with live swing music by Sam Ghezzi & The Roaring Cats, followed by boxing matches in the ring. As midnight approaches, the lights dim and the film begins.

This is cinema after dark: immersive, atmospheric, and a shared social experience. Not just a film screening, but a night to inhabit the nocturnal film world.

Dress code (encouraged)

Think 1940s-1950s style: tailored suits, vintage dresses - or wear black and white to match the monochrome film.
